Invitation to Selected Association Executives

Dear Wendy Alberts:

We invite you to join a special one day Global Restaurant Association Executives Leadership Summit to be held in conjunction with the National Restaurant Association?s annual Show.

The purpose of the one day meeting is to identify issues common to our industry and to restaurant associations globally and to develop a framework to jointly address these issues. We believe that you and your members face concerns in your country that are similar to those we address in the United States. These may include supply chain pricing and consistency, customer satisfaction, government regulations, food safety, nutritional value and other related topics. These are truly global issues and it is time to address them as an international community representing our respective members.

Every year in Chicago, Illinois we host the NRA Show: over 3,000 exhibitors of food, equipment, and supplies with an attendance of 60,000+ restaurant owners, operators, executives and staff, including attendees from 100 different nations. To provide a better idea of the size and scope of the NRA Show, please consult our website, http://show.restaurant.org, which provides information about the Show?s programs, exhibitors and educational sessions.

The 2013 NRA Show, our 94th, will run for four days beginning May 18. The Global Restaurant Association Executives Leadership Summit is scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 19 at 5:00 pm CST with a reception; we will convene on Monday morning, May 20, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a series of speakers and open forums. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

We hope you will consider joining us at this first, invitation-only Summit. Please reply by April 15, 2013 if you are interested in attending.
